Estates in Sandiacre and Long Eaton will be getting the S.T.A.R. treatment next week, thanks to Three Valleys Housing.
From 2.00pm until 4.00pm on Wednesday 1 October, our Street Team Action Roadshow will be targeting four areas.
The areas that will be visited are (click on the links for more details):
• Hart Lea and Town Street, Sandiacre
• Barker Avenue North, Hart Avenue and Central Avenue, Sandiacre
• Erewash Court, Shakespeare Street and Park Street, Long Eaton
• Nottingham Road and Bonsall Court, Long Eaton.
Staff will be litter picking, clearing fly tipping and checking the tidiness of the area. Our repairs team will also be carrying out minor repairs.
Skips will be provided from 12noon on Wednesday 1 October until 12noon on Thursday 2 October for residents to dispose of larger items of household rubbish. Details of the skip locations can be found by clicking on the links above.
Head of Neighbourhood Management, Alf Mclean, said: “We want to improve the environment on our estates and would like residents to be able to take pride in the areas where they live.”
He continued: “Our Street Team Action Roadshows have been well received by residents, who have joined us in identifying issues they want us to deal with. If anyone would like to join us on Wednesday, please call us on 0844 770 3500 to arrange a meeting place.”
