There are vacancies for members of the Three Valleys Board, its Customer Council and the Scrutiny Panel.
If you are interested you can easily apply for the posts, each of which play a different role in helping us to improve the services we provide to you and
your fellow tenants.
• Join the Board of Three Valleys Housing. The housing association’s Board members include four tenants. There is currently one vacancy. The Board is responsible for the strategic, long-term direction of the association. It meets regularly to review progress and make decisions about services
• The Customer Council needs eight new members. It works with the Three Valleys Housing management team, giving tenants’ views on housing policies and proposed changes. This way, tenants can influence what happens
• The Scrutiny Panel is an independent body that monitors local issues, complaints and customer feedback. It does ‘reality checks’ to make sure that performance reports are accurate and to identify areas for improvement. Its reports and recommendations go to the board. Four new members are needed.
The work of both the Customer Council and the Scrutiny Panel is part of the co-regulatory requirements of the Tenant Services Authority.
To help members be effective, there is training available which can lead to
formal qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Housing.
