The signing of a charter on Friday 8 May 2009 confirmed the partnership between Three Valleys Housing and its ‘Decent Homes’ partners – J Tomlinson and Connaught Partnerships Ltd.
The partnership will see more than £10million spent on improvements to residents’ homes. Gas contractor J Tomlinson is installing new central heating in 1,600 homes, and Connaught Partnerships Ltd. will be carrying out improvements such as new kitchens, bathrooms and roofs.
A team of ‘Resident Inspectors’ recruited from Three Valleys Housing’s residents, will be helping to monitor the work to make sure the standards are met.
